This Great Plains dress for a Christmas party? (or is it too summery?)

Hello, could anyone offer some advice? I bought this dress from Great Plains in July - but could I wear it to my work's Christmas party, or is it just too Summery? What accessories would make it more festive? (I really don't want to splash out on a new frock!)

In order to nab it I've put a large and an extra large in my basket.

I find it hard to wear dresses that zip up because I've got a broad back and big boobs. My top half is more like an 18 but bottom half would ideally be a 15

Can anyone recommend either the large or extra large?

Anyone else selling the dress?...my size is sold out!

there seem to be some still available on gemini-woman.co.uk. They've got xs and l left, but only in black. Sorry to say i snapped up one of the remaining ones from Sunday Best. Can't wait for it to arrive

It's now sold out from Ice too (the place I linked to upthread). We are all going to be walking around in the same dress! Still so pleased I bought it this morning! But if it gets here and I don't like it I will come back to this thread and see if anyone wants it.

I got it in black today on House Of Fraser in the sale. Love it! Going to wear it Saturday to a posh meal, hoping I will look vaguely hip instead of the old fuddy duddy I feel like. Got the M and it fits my size 12 (gained a stone and cant lose it) body. Also got the crepe tunic in a small. Was so delighted the small fitted I couldnt leave it. Actually looks nice with drapey sleeves, thinking of wearing with leopard print shoes and bag?

I have an XS in Roebuck if anyone wants to buy it off me - it arrived today and doesn't fit. I'd say it's a generous size 8, if that helps at all. It needs someone with a decent bust and hips to make it look good! PM me if you want it (it's £66) otherwise I will send it back.

I have the dress-bought it in the summer. Love it. Am a 12 with big boobs so bought a large and I could have done with a medium as it is quite big on.
