i noticed on wowcher today they were selling glycolic peels at Skin for £34 instead of around £80 and I wondered whether anyone had had one and whether they were worth the money

Not a salon one, but I have done a home glycolic peel - AMAZING - honestly like having new skin. Sorts out all your open pores and scabby bits ( should you have any Grin) I was quite scared as I have v sensitive skin & prone to allergies but am am absolute convert now.

You can buy a set of 4 peels - do one a week for a month - for £40-£50

I had these at skin before my wedding (think it was a course of 4 or 6) and the result was pretty good, my skin is normally very 'congested' and it felt smoother and clearer

I've had them done usually about £40 so not too big a saving. think you need to have them done regularly to get real benefit so might be worth scoping a salon that you would use regularly and see if they do a discounted price for a course of say 6. If you find your salon, they usually do reduced prices come the quiet time after Xmas.

Myother this is the one I did . If you google there are plenty online though some of the prices are ridiculous, couple of sellers on Ebay as well. I can get in in a pharmacy for £40
Actually did it in about August & now half way through my second lot. Love it,love it...

I've had them done at a salon but agree you need to have them every month or so. You can get a DIY Sanctuary set from Boots at the moment for £22 which looks good.

That does look bargainous but check the percentage of Glycolic - it can vary a lot between products ( glycolic peel geek Blush)

Yes, I have, at SK:N. Had a groupon one which was (I think) a 10% peel, which was great - far better than any standard facial I've ever had. I booked for a set of three proper peels (ie 30%) and my skin is now amazing. Proper convert.
