moisturisers

I'm 37 (and looking 40-something) and need a daytime moisturiser. I have 5 kids, including a 4 mth old, and my skin is hormonal, spotty and patchy with dark areas and some good solid lines under the eyes. Rich moisturisers leave it greasy. Can anyone recommend a good, low-budget moisturiser (though valium may be more useful?)?

Personally I use an aloe vera based moisturiser, which will suit most skins. I try to avoid using chemicals as much as possible. Although my jar of aloe vera with orange flower costs around £10, you only need to use it sparingly. At night i use aloe vera and rosehip oil which has done wonders for the skin around my eyes. Both of mine are from Wikaniko

Hi you could give this kit a try. I used it when My dd was 7 months old, My skin was hormomal, spotty and patchy with red spider veins on My cheeks. This kit really cleared it up, the moisturiser isn't rich either.

I've just discovered Nivea daily essentials w lemongrass. About 3 quid, SPF 8.
Your skin sounds like mine, and it works for me.

you could try Dr Nick Lowe oil control moisturiser - its about £15 in Boots, but there are often offers on and it lasts for months. I had oily yukky my skin moisturised but not coated and greasy. hth
