So..... I've been lurking and gleaning tipsfor about 9 months now and finally feel I have moved from my post kids 'blurgh'
So far I have...
got myself a blunt fringe
chucked out LOADS of tatty clothes that don't suit me anymore
bought some dresses (a first for me)
AND biggest change of all stated wearing a bit of tinted moist, mascara and blush most days.....
But there is one last remaining grooming ishoo. my eyebrows. Now I think they are rather a nice shape naturaly- not too bushy or straggy, but I wonder if a bit of threading could transform my face. Is it worth it? Becasue I have dark hair/brows and I'm naturaly quite (ehem) hirstuite I worry once I start it'll be another thing I'll have to keep on top of (stubbly brows not a good look surely?)
Opinions please...

Well, I would becuase well shaped brows can make a huge difference to how you look, much more than you would think. There is a bit more upkeep but not much Smile

See [[http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/celebrities-without-eyebrows-cg3 Anne Hathaway] for a giggle on the difference they can make :)

Oops

Also, filling your eyebrows in with a pencil, or a suitable coloured eyeshadow and flat angled brush can make a huge difference, and really lift your face. Have a look on youtube for tips. I always do my eyebrows, even before mascara or anything else. And I have black eyebrows, but it still makes a big difference.

Ha, ha! That's mental Grin.

I always wonder why so many people pluck all their eyebrows away then draw new ones on. Can somebody who does this explain it to me, please?

Oh, and congrats on the makeover, and defo get your eyebrows threaded - it makes all the difference.

mmme
ok so is there anyone out there with dark hair (I have to wax legs every 10 days- or at least run over with an epliator) who can give me some idea of how frequently I will have to thread (before I finaly take the plunge)

About every 3 weeks, hettie. Or you can leave it longer if you invest in some good tweezers and tidy them up in between.
