What to wear to Strictly Come Dancing tomorrow???

Ok got last minute tickets to the live Children in Need show at Wembley tomorrow night and am at a complete loss as to what to wear!

The dress code on the tickets says "glamorous, strictly no jeans" and I have heard that people can be turned away if not suitably dressed.

So DP will be in smart shirt, tie, cufflinks, trousers etc. Not sure whether he should wear a suit jacket too.

I presume that I need to wear a dress but don't know how dressy to go, IYSWIM.... prom style dress or LBD? Are sequins mandatory?

Has anyone been to Strictly???

I went three years ago and wore a plainish cocktail dress. Was definitely over-dressed compared to the rest of the audience. And cold. There was a lot of waiting around.

Sequins are a must if you want!!! I think a lbd with tights and high heals - very hight heals!!!!!

Thanks ladies, have nipped into Debenhams this morning and got a cardi and some thick black tights to go with a black dress I have. Hoping not too overdressed.... it's in the Arena rather than the Stadium so hoping not too cold.

Not possible to be overdressed for strictly! The more sequins and spangles the better.

Hey ladies sorry didn't post anything during the show last night.

It was fantastic, although we were stuck in there from 5pm til 10.30pm so it did seem rather long and by the end of it my throat is sore from all the screaming and my hands tingling from all the clapping!

Very interesting to see how they record a 'live' show.... but I won't give any secrets away for fear of being stalked and sued by BBC

Had to take a 'Strictly Oath' that I wouldn't tell anyone who gets voted off..... but would be interested to hear your guesses
