I need a couple of pairs of trousers for work (school), nothing too expensive or dryclean only.
I have hunted for ages but can't find a nice pair anywhere I am petite with thunder thighs and find anything that fits well over the thighs gapes at the waist. Please help me find a well fitted pair of trousers.

Next I would say as they have a petite range and do very good range with excellent prices

Another for next Smile

Gap has good range of cuts and lengths. Sounds like their bootcut or curvy would work for you.

Budget? Hobbs are really good for work trousers, or Laura Ashley.

I am the same shape as you and I find Wallis trousers fit really well.

I always get work trousers from Next.

Easy to return stuff and not too pricey.

Budget wise I would spend about £50-70 pounds. I am going in to town today so will look at Wallis and Next Petite ranges too. Any other suggestions welcome.

I don't have a Laura Ashley near me so that ones out and will have to see if there is a Hobbs in town.

I have a fabulous pair of slim leg ones from M&S which were £18 but they don't look it and wash and wear brilliantly. I think that they do them in different shapes and lengths too.

Monsoon currently have a discount on lots of their tweedy type trousers in lots of colourways (blue/taupe/grey) and offer a good range of sizes and lengths. I too suffer from the thunder thighs and find monsoon trousers fit pear shapes well (I think these ones also come with a little belt too) and are flattering too, especially if worn with heels.

Thanks went to mext today but still had the gaping waist issue there too :(
