Anyone else have problems with Next's erratic sizing??

I'm usually a size 12 in jeans however Next sizing tends to come up a bit big so their 12s tend to be quite big on me. So I ordered a size 10 pair of skinny jeans a few months back. Love them except for their a bit big! I have to wear a belt with them otherwise they fall down. So when ordering a new pair of jeans last night I'm thinking "hmm well their size 10's are a bit big, should I order an 8?" but no - I went for the 10s.

They've just arrived and they won't even bleeding fasten!! they're tiny!

Same company, same type of jeans - why such a massive difference in sizing? It's so annoying. Have to send them back now and get a 12.

Oh and I also ordered a size 10 pair of leggings - waddya know - they're a bit big Hmm and a size 8 jumper which fits perfect. bloody stupid.

I have exactly the same problem - until about a year ago Next's 12 Long jeans were a really good fit on me. Then I order a couple of pairs, different styles (only slightly, both bootcut) and both were huge on me. I ended up with a 10 long in one style - the other pair in a 10 were still huge so i returned again for an 8, which were fine on the waist but too tight on the thighs and for some reason a good two inches too short, tho i'd ordered the same length.........

I've not lost any weight in past year or so and I've certainly not shrunk.

Gave up and went to Gap! No problems there.

I can't buy Next trousers, they just do not fit me. Any other shop I can go and get a size 12 and not even bother trying on. Not Next.

Yes, have this exact same problem. Frequently find that Next jeans in particular can have very erratic sizing, even within the same style. I've stopped ordering jeans from their website as I always need to try them on first.
On another note I've noticed a dramatic decrease in the quality of Next jeans. I've got a pair of boyfriend jeans I got 5 years ago from there - really nice weight to the denim and they still fit well and look good even now. Their jeans nowadays tend to be a much lighter denim and don't last as long or look as good. I'd rather pay a bit more, than pay the same as a few years ago and have a drop in quality,......
