Wedding outfit for a baby

I need an outfit for my DD (she will be nearly 6 months at the time) to wear to by DB's wedding. I would like something bright and colourful. I like Monsoon stuff, but nothing jumps out at me.

Any suggestions!?

How about this?

What season? What do you like? A dress or a romper suit? DS was 5 months at a wedding we went to and I put him in a lovely simple all-in-one from Emile et Rose. They have gorgeous stuff for special occasions.

I'd balk at paying £40 for a baby's dress, but this is lovely. John Lewis often have beautiful, colourful baby clothes and their own brand stuff is much cheaper.

Whatever you put your baby in bring along a lovely sleep suit and then if you are staying into the evening you can change the baby for bedtime and that way when they fall asleep they are already comfortably dressed and can just be put straight to bed.

Thanks all! The wedding is at the end of this month, in Scotland so she will need to be warm! Go thinking on the sleep suit!

If you don't mind second hand then have a search around on eBay. I got a gorgeous mamas & papas "bridesmaid" dress for 2 month old dd from there for under £5 including postage. It had cost over £40 originally.
It does help if you know which brands you want to search for then you can quickly filter out things that aren't to your taste. If you want something a bit different search for catimini or my favourite- minihaha.
