cashmere -- repair or replace?

Im wondering if anyone out there can help. I have a BELOVED cashmere hoodie that is falling to bits much to my eternal sadness. This is probably the only garment I have owned that I will really truly bemoan its passing.

So do I : A/ have it repaired. And if so has anyone had any success with any particular person/company?

         B/ try and replace.

The original was only from Tesco F+F from probably 4 years ago and not that expensive but it is so very perfect. Of course I have checked online with Tesco (actually for the past couple of years hoping to get another) so where do I look now. Sadly I am not particularly wealthy so the most I could possibly extend to would be about £150 pounds (AND THEN I would be asking for it for Christmas). If anyone saw one that was more expensive but in every other way wonderful, I suppose I could at least wait until sales and hope like heck that one in a size 14 was available then. It needs to be a size 14 cashmere hoodie, front zip and light grey in colour.

The much loved original is now only fit for household wear having holes in the elbows (and more tragically and probably more difficult to repair) the area where all the seams meet under the armpit has basically given up as well. Has anyone out there ever found a cashmere repair service that could deal with all that and if so will I end up spending £150 pounds to fix it?

Awaiting illumination while sadly regarding the state of my much loved jumper...

M&S
bit over budget

Thanks dexter... It really has to be grey and I realise looking at that one also a bit shorter mine ends on my hip bone and fits quite slim which helps it not to feel too frumpy (on my shape anyway if I buy things a bit longer I tend to look shapeless and sort of swamped)

Ack! Pretty much perfect except for price. Now does anyone know anything about this company ( like for instance if they have good sales? )

Why don't you try Ebay? I have had a couple of items of clothing that i have loved so much I have sought replacements on Ebay with success. Sometimes you do have to be patient - I waited a few months to find a pair of jeans that I ripped - but it was sooooooo worth it to get my much loved items back!
