Black work trousers help!

Hi! I need help. Have had 2 DCs and although I've gone back to my pre pregnancy weight (and lower) I think my body shape has changed. Have abit of a belly now but that doesn't mean I can wear larger size trousers! Quite the opposite! A size 10 pair has been given away as it was falling off me.

Anyway can anyone point me to size 8 black work type trousers? I went into m&s this afternoon as I've always been able to find stuff there that fit me.... And couldn't find a single size 8 short (im 5ft 3 and abit and apparently that's short). I would have had to wonder web the 'medium'!!!

I did try h&m but their size 8s were on the slightly tight side (maybe should have tried the 10?) ...

I really like the New Look trousers (I think they are about £9). They're flattering in all the right places! I have about 3 pairs that I rotate throughout the working week . I'm 5"2 and take the 8S which fit well with flats.

Thanks for that. Ironically those were the trousers I gave away as I couldn't fit anymore! Ok. It's back to new look then!

I have cheap trousers for work as they get ruined. I am 5'3'' but can't wear short ones as they are too short - they flap round my ankles. I'd rather have normal ones that are too long. I get them from M&S, Tesco & my staff swear by Primark.

I have lots of stuff from m&s prior to dc2. Now they seem to have gone all longer. The assistant actually said to me that they have v few 8s. Just like they have v few 22l!!! Hm. I did try the 8m but the waist was slightly loose and the length I think I'd have to take up at least 3inches!!
