Need new post baby clothes as can't get into old ones or they look horrible and I feel crap. I have no clue though, I am not good at style. I wondered about a personal shopper in John Lewis but probably not enough money? Someone suggested house of Fraser, anyone got any experience?

Totally use a personal shopper - I used Debenhams when I was getting married and had absolutely no clothes that were suitable for our honeymoon. They don't charge anything, there's no minimum spend, and you only pay for the clothes you want to buy (and if, when you get home, you change your mind, you have the same rights as anyone else to take them back). It's a totally win-win situation - and for a busy new mum is much more time-efficient than trawling in and out of changing rooms and getting dressed/undressed a gazillion times.

When I went, she took a note of my size and the sorts of clothes I was looking for when I booked the session, so when I arrived there was a selection on the rail ready for me. We used this as a basis for her to fine-tune exactly what I was looking for etc. She bounced me out of my comfort zone and got me to try on things that I normally wouldn't have looked twice at - some of which I loved. And if I tried something on that didn't fit, she went to find the right size - and on the way back would pick up necklace, shoes, scarf etc etc that would go with it. And if you have some clothes that you still like/still fit, you can take them along and she'll find things to match/update them with.

You should absolutely do it.

Wicket do all debinhams stores have a personal shopper, I'm due a baby in january, have been pg for 2 years!! (dd is 12mo) so could really do with some advice (google is rubbish on my phone so can't go and search) but a personal shopper sounds great and debinhams have lots of diffrent stores so you wouldn't be confined to 1 shop (like next or jl)

Debenhams would be good, thanks!
