What colour shoes to wear with navy and white dress?

Just bought a lovely navy and white spotty wrap dress that is super flattering. What colour shoes would you wear with it for work? Think navy shoes would make me look to 'Mumsy'. Brown maybe?

Yes, your right. I remember going to a do, and some poor woman was in black and white, and every time she moved, someone gave her an empty plate! .

I would say nude, brown, navy, grey in order of preference. I'm sure red or lime would look nice but I'm not bold enough to pull it of so I guess it depends what sort of person you are.

How about orange? - I love it with navy and less uniformy/nautical than red

Oooh, noddy- speaking of orange. Have just painted DD's room orange to go with the pink vintage wallpaper I found. Only it doesn't quite go. Am stuck.
