wtf to wear to a ridiculously smart winter wedding...

I have a very smart wedding in Wiltshire at the beginning of December and am at a loss as to what to wear. I am trying to find a really smart silk or velvet dress coat that will see me through a few weddings, but seem to be drawing a blank. I'm 34, so don't want to look like the Spinster Aunt of the bride... Any suggestions would be massively helpful. Being in remote Yorkshire means that something online would be good.

What's your budget? Any favourite shops? I have a Jaeger dress that I bought in one of their outlet stores, I've worn it to three weddings and always felt great in it.

The jaeger sale is worth a look, i love this one, think it would look amazing with a big necklace and heels.

My budget would probably cap at £200 - slightly more for something really fabulous. I have a massive phobia of my upper arms and have DD boobs so v neck with sleeves for preference. It's the jacket bit I am most concerned about tbh - I don't really want to drape myself in pashminas to keep warm

oooh the second one is more like it - would need to work on my middle though!

What about www.matchesfashion.com or love this maxi dress at my-wardrobe?

is it just me or does the girl on the front page of matches look like her head is falling off?

And she can fly!! Blimey, she's wasted as a model!

Good idea to repost, might be more ideas in Style and Beauty, I've carried on hunting, love looking at dresses and has given me a much needed girly non stressful thing to focus on, although tricky to find anything with sleeves that's not a day dress.

I'm now trying to justify going and getting the FWM dress, just love it, very Mad Men! Have you found any other possibilities?
