Facial or microdermabrasion...?

skin is just a bit dull with noticeable pores. Needs something, so which would be better. And if I have a facial then which one? Too much choice. I do elemis home facial stuff at home so I don't want to pay ££ for something I can or do do myself.

Ooh Viva, I've just posted - I bought a kit from TK Maxx, haven't tried it yet though. Too scared!

And I've just come back from tk maxx, didn't see any. Was it expensive? I saw a review some months back on home kits in general and I think it said the results weren't as good as at a salon.

It was £12.99, just had a look on the site and they've all sold out.

microdermabrasion always (or any other specialised mechanical/electrical treatment that you can't do at home).

I stupidly wasted a spa voucher on Saturday on an Elemis facial. Was so meh I was more uptight and stressed after - the therapist was so timid with her massage strokes it just felt like she was tickling my face Angry. anyway, have learnt my lesson, will always go for massage or dermabrasion next time. (I should say I have a beauty diploma and therefore am v critical of all treatments)

I do like No7's microdermabrasion scrub however - would recommend it (especially with £5 boots voucher), gives great results, but go gently to begin with!

I've got that no 7 scrub, I do like it. Thanks.

How about a v light chemical peel? The salon strength rather than the clinic strength.
Usually the same kind of price as dermabrasion.

I normally have the Crystal clear facials 2-3 times a year and find they give great visible results. Have also had Guinot Hydradermie facials in the past too with great results (but unfortunately skin reacted to it last time so too scared to have another one!)

Or do OCM once or twice a week - I get much smaller pores and clearer skin from that.
Also do the elemis papaya peel and gives a nice glow to skin and tightens it up no end.
Also find that when I had a nice decleor facial - you get back massage included and my eyes always felt nice and wide and alert for a couple of days afterwards.
