are YOU a compulsive tights buyer?

just went into loft to get REAL wintery stuff down and put summer remnants up.

Conclusions

1. sheesh i WILL buy anything with sequins on and

1. HOW MANY PAIRS of tights do i buy? i rarely wear skirts in winter9 maybe once a week, but an alien looking in my hosiery bag ;) would think differently.

I THINK its that if you are planning on going out , you are never sure if your tights are ok - so you buy a spare pair?

I counted how many pairs of tights I had in my drawer the other day and there were 32 pairs of tights or hold ups. 2 of them were plain black, 3 were navy, four were grey and the rest were either black lace or fishnet etc, or coloured ones. I clearly have a bit of a thing for tights but can resist sequins easily.

I think it's because (other than my Wolfords) tights are pretty cheap and can always be justified to dp (who doesn't understand them and therefore dares not question them!) - or something!

I've chucked out loads of grotty old tights this month - mostly those thick types that are poorly fitting anyway (they usually creep down my hips and the gusset ends up around my knees!!)

I've invested in a couple of pairs of M&S Autograph expensive thick tights - brown angora and black cashmere - both £12. I've worn the brown ones so far and they fit brilliantly.

Tights yes, sequins no.

So how come whenever I want to find a normal plain pair of black opaques I can't?

I do have far too much fishnet.

Trills - I can never find plain black opaques because my dds steal them. AND they steal all of my socks. And then deny it...
