Struggling to find mid-heeled boots. Can anyone help?

I have £50 of birthday money which I'd like to spend on some boots. There are plenty within budget, but they all seem to be either flats, or ridiculously high heels that I won't be able to walk in. If I tell you what I'm looking for, please could you post a link if you've come across something that might be suitable? Smile ...

  • Mid heel, maybe 2ish inches, preferably a chunky heel rather than tapered or stilletto
  • About mid shin in height
  • I prefer biker or worker style, don't mind if it has laces or not, but I hate slouchy or cowboy boots, or anything that looks like it was made in the 1980s.
  • Dark colour

I hope that's not being too fussy!! I can't find anything so far!

Too £, but do you like them Hogwarts?

BedatHogwarts · 29/10/2011 19:18

Thanks Currant, I do like them but I would class them as flats, and I have a couple of pairs of flat boots already. I'd like something with a definite heel, but not the 5" type that seem to be the only alternative. I don't think I could walk in anything that high!! Smile

Do you want ankle, calf or knee high?

TethHearseEnd · 29/10/2011 19:21

Ooops, just saw you want mid shin

ignore me.

TethHearseEnd · 29/10/2011 19:24

too high, but how is the heel/style?

TethHearseEnd · 29/10/2011 19:26

Thanks Tethers, I like the Kickers boots and all three of the styles in your last post. Stacked heel - I guess that must be the technical term!! Smile I'd better start saving - I suppose it's better to spend a bit more on leather so it lasts longer?
