I urgently need stretchy (summer) shorts for my 5yo. Any ideas?

We live outside UK in a hot country, but the shops here are full of exactly the same winter stock you have back home. Not terribly useful, and very limited as we don't have many shops.

My 5yo needs some stretchy, sports type shorts for tennis, gymnastics, PE, everything really. We were down to 2 pairs and now she's gone and lost one!

If I order quickly my friend can bring them out for me. Everywhere is full of winter stock. Where will I find some?

I usually get a Next or Gymboree multipack of various colours - that sort of thing.

These come in navy or black.

Thank you. But I don't mean cycle shorts. I mean This sort of thing or this. Just kids summer shorts. Not tailored and no zips or buttons. I don't want to get from ebay as it will be much easier for my friend having just one parcel delivery.

What about Australian kids clothing stores? It's summer in Australia now.

If you look on the next site in the 'offers' section on the right hand side, there is one 2-pack of shorts here
If this is what you are looking for i can send you some that my dd's were wearing this summer.

Good tip about the Next offers bit of the site. Unfortunately the shorts there are too tailored I think - she needs something soft and stretchy for gym and sports. I had a look through and got excited a couple of times but unfortunately the right shorts are not available in her size.

The Peacocks ones would be perfect but are out of stock.

Hadn't thought of Amazon. £25 is a bit steep but am going to have a better look tomorrow morning when my connection is not so slooooow and painful.

Have you tried sports direct? They do lots of football style shorts.
