OP posts:
PerryCombover · 28/10/2011 09:48

she also needs to lay off the fillers
looks like she is in renal failure

ggirl · 28/10/2011 09:51

ouch!
she obv feels a desperate need to show off her 'fab at fifty figure'

carpwidow · 28/10/2011 09:54

But she's had NO cosmetic surgery Perry!! Don't you believe the article?!!! ;) (Wait til her Pinocchioesque nose starts!)

MaeMobley · 28/10/2011 09:55

PerryC, what do you mean about the fillers and renal failure look?

am considering fillers.

And yes, OP, I will join your intervention.

Manathome · 28/10/2011 09:58

What a stunning and intelligent woman, whatever she does she is comes across as a classy lady, even in jeans, hmmm certainly eye candy for me!

How do I make the picture a screensaver? Grin

carpwidow · 28/10/2011 10:00

..so you'd like two from the top and one from the bottom then Manathome? ;)

Manathome · 28/10/2011 10:09

Look, I am bored at home :-) I have just found this site and it is boosting my morale as I have now found a way of using my brain in the day rather than the tedious womens work I am now committed to doing. What worries me is that this internet stuff is dangerous, I was having a nosey around at womans problems on here last night and contributing to a couple of threads, next thing I knew it was nearly midnight, this could suck my life away!

MrsVoltar · 28/10/2011 10:14

I think its a bit crap of women to be 'slagging off' someone like Carol Vorderman, she does look bloody good for 50! Yes, some of her outfits too young but no need for nastiness, IMO.

Welcome to the world of Mumsnet Manathome Grin, hope you've got your fruitshoots & Greggs sausage roll handy.

Manathome · 28/10/2011 10:20

Sorry I am at a loss with regards to fruitshoots and Greggs, is it a secret code for something? I am still trying to work out what the hell a DD DS BD DG LIBS e.t.c. is, do woman not talk normally now, seems there is some kind of secret code going on to confuse men who then only get half the story Confused

Eyelasher · 28/10/2011 10:26

i titter at the idea of women not slagging off other women.

tis abnormal

OP posts:
Eyelasher · 28/10/2011 10:27

the fruit shoots etc was a thread about 10 years ago

is so not funny

OP posts:
MrsVoltar · 28/10/2011 10:28

'Fruitshoots' and 'Greggs sausage rolls' are much derided on MN as being scummy and not to be admitted to.

List of acronyms (DD, DS etc) at top, to avoid typing every time.

Manathome · 28/10/2011 10:45

Our local Greggs closed down, I must say I see it as lard and would never let my children eat it, it reminds me of spotty kids roaming the streets with greggs wrappers and sausage rolls (or something purporting to be) hanging out, Yuk!

Fruitshoots, well my Lidls mini juice cartons could be perceived as that, but with it being 100% real juice I am hoping it won't damage them :-)

OneHandFlapping · 28/10/2011 10:58

That's NOT a camel toe. <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=camel+toe&hl=en&biw=1366&bih=563&gbv=2&tbm=isch&tbnid=0eQadRTST_CRsM:&imgrefurl=travelsofsober.blogspot.com/2010/03/i-am-so-excited-to-write-this-blog.html&docid=0G4EPUm1igcW4M&imgurl=2.bp.blogspot.com/_VsqGoHvAPMA/S5KWTUTgD4I/AAAAAAAAAEU/8VPge-djATc/s320/tights-camel-toe.jpg&w=225&h=250&ei=5XuqTs7vG8Oo8QPbu42NCw&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=1139&vpy=243&dur=5304&hovh=200&hovw=180&tx=136&ty=125&sig=117788319228234876908&page=2&tbnh=140&tbnw=131&start=16&ndsp=17&ved=1t:429,r:16,s:16" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this (NSFW) is a camel toe.

Leave her alone. She looks great and enjoys her clothes. I know all the closet DM readers on MN think all women over 50 should wear mum boots and wolef fleeces, but (speaking as one myself), I disagree.

Manathome · 28/10/2011 11:03

IS THAT YOUR BLOG!!!!!! Blimey I have led a sheltered life, that is an amazing picture, I wish my wife would wear pants like that (for me only) :-)

wailedfig · 28/10/2011 11:50

It says something for the pernicious way the Mail creeps into your brain when you automatically translate the phrase '...shows off her figure in...' as '...looks the size of a house in...' without even seeing the photo.

Manathome · 28/10/2011 11:57

Oooo.... bitchy? Grin

wailedfig · 28/10/2011 17:04

No, just auto-translating the Mail's snidey commentary on their celeb photos; they like to cover a thick core of misogyny in a faux-caring 'you go, fat girl!' sisterhood.

'showing off her figure' = 'ooh, doesn't she look fat!'
'celebrating her curves' = ooh, doesn't she look fat!'
'enjoying herself' = 'ooh, not wearing make-up and looking fat, possibly also eating (shock!'
'sporting a natural look' = 'ooh, doesn't she look ordinary without make-up!'
'taking her time to lose the baby weight' = 'she only gave birth four days ago but still...'

etc. Am sure there are many, many more. You get to spot them.

531800000008 · 28/10/2011 17:07

531800000008 · 28/10/2011 17:09

Manathome · 28/10/2011 17:22

I think it shows of her gorgeous female figure, clearly she doesn't need to hide a gut! Smile

natashakaplinkyplop · 28/10/2011 19:14

Scary jeans and tucked in top.
Like the coat though.

Lookattheears · 28/10/2011 19:18

Isn't the golden rule not tight on top and on bottom?

RefereezaWanka · 28/10/2011 19:19

I'd kill for Cazza's figure and I've got 15 years on her.

The jeans are naffola, though.
