..if they ask you what you think the current trends are?!

I have an interview in a relatively up market retailer in a week's time. I really want the job. I want to be as prepared as possible, have a feeling they're going to ask me that question, and probably pick out some looks for different things. I can waffle on a bit, and don't want to!

You guys are all so stylish and on-trend (kiss arse emocion!!) I would really appreciate a succinct, brill answer! If I don't go prepared I know I will just go on and on and piss them off!! Any sugg's most welcome.

Fairisle - loads of it everywhere. Jumpers - there was a feature in The Observer on jumpers last week.

Go and buy this week's Grazia and swot up! It has a feature on all the key catwalk trends, it'll make you sound v knowledgeable.

Off the top of my head - knee high wedge boots, geeky jumpers, 1940s style dresses, wine and mustard colours, ladylike handbags.

Block heels

Mid length dresses/skirts

Shoe boots or wedge boots

You're all lovely - thanks. That was exactly what I wanted.

Mum boots - hahaha, thought I'd wear my faux-leather ones to the interview...

DH picked Grazia up for me this morning, thanks stripey.
