I really need to get my hair colour done but with an 8 week old girl the time is running out - if I colour my own hair with Garnier permanent can I then get highlights put on in a few weeks when my OH gets home from work and I have the time or shall I just grin and bear it until I can get it all done in the salon - obviously financially doing it myself is more desirable but I am so grey it needs something!
Please advise Ta!

I've just used this and it has completely destroyed the condition of my hair,without further highlighting.
Holding out for a salon appointment is a much better idea imo.
