horMOANSnomore · 15/10/2011 21:09

Looks like she's wearing a pinny over her little black dress.

dexter73 · 15/10/2011 21:11

If they took the 'ard' from the 'foulard' they would be describing it correctly.

FetchezLaVache · 15/10/2011 21:12

I love playing Per Una! That one's been on here before, but it's so gobsmackingly wrong it's always worth pointing at and laughing.

Emo76 · 15/10/2011 21:21

oh no , apologies for the Per Una double spot faux pas! Still I am genuinely staggered at the range of horrors on offer there, season after season. Who on earth buys it?

OP posts:
paulapantsdown · 15/10/2011 21:39

it look like a large swimsuit worn over a jumper

paulapantsdown · 15/10/2011 21:43

this is sliimming isn't it?

FoofFighters · 15/10/2011 21:43

Ooh Speziale is truly vile. How I Love the this big floppy gem. Behold, the fanjo-flap cardi

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/10/2011 21:49

You know what? I have a fear of the day that I will like something on the specials threads. So far I'm safe though Grin

FoofFighters · 15/10/2011 21:56

oh paula missed your post! [hblush]

OTheHugeWerewolef · 15/10/2011 22:01

The floral applique detail 'makes it extra stylish'. Discuss

Emo76 · 15/10/2011 22:01

A "casual single breasted coat" . ah. that's where I've been going wrong then on Fridays at work.

OP posts:
moondog · 15/10/2011 22:04

These have me wheezing in manner of arthritic spaniel.
I wonder if i could pit in an FOI request to M&S as to purchasing demographic?

Clinically insane I would imagine.
Perhaps it is some weird tax avoidance scam?

Panzee · 15/10/2011 22:16

Fly my pretties

Emo76 · 15/10/2011 22:17

"a feminine shrug" .....as opposed to a masculine one?

OP posts:
FoofFighters · 15/10/2011 22:18

oh god that flower applique dogtooth skirt [hshock]

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's a bobbled cardi-tux!

FoofFighters · 15/10/2011 22:19

The key to tasteful studded sequinned wear is less is more

BattyDevineIntervention · 15/10/2011 22:25

Is that Per Una model really, really cheap?

No. She was in fact quite expensive. Because she knew she would never work again

wailedfig · 15/10/2011 22:38

I know it's stating the bleeding obvious, but it never fails to amaze me that those clothes go through multiple stages - the design, the approval, the samples, the production - and no one at any point says, hmm, that's really quite foul. In fact, presumably there are worse designs that don't actually make it.

[head explodes]

WeepsInPaleDew · 15/10/2011 22:54

Oh please stop...

I can't move for laughing. The designers are taking the piss, surely? I wonder how much they get paid? Does anybody know? I am genuinely interested.

I have a small box in my cupboard which contains paper dresses/outfits from Bunty magazine, with which I used to "dress" a paper model many, many moons ago. I wonder if the lovely Speziale designers would like them as inspiration for their next collection. Pretty similar tat stuff.
