I'm doing the Curly Girl method and wanted some advice on the best styling products? I dislike feeling like I've got loads of product in my hair and that 'crunchy' feeling.

I can't stand the sticky 'product' feeling either and like Umberto Giannini Flirty Curls gel stuff (think that's what it's called).
If you do get any crunch it disappears with a gentle scrunch with your hands.
I mix a small blob with water and scrunch or comb into wet hair.
Also use it diluted to revive dry hair which really needs washing

I've seen Boots' pink curl creme recommended before but haven't tried it yet as Umberto's tube seems to be never ending Grin

I'm loose curly as opposed to tight curly and hate crunch. I use the Aussie products (shampoo and conditioner), let it dry naturally (blow drying = huge frizz) then finish with a squirt of John Frieda Dream Curls. I like the result - not crunchy, not frizzy, just curly. I used to use John Frieda curl around shampoo and conditioner but have moved to a hard water area and now it just feels claggy but it might work where you are.
