Milia and electrolisis

I went for a microdermabrasion treatment yesterday. Afterwards the beautician mentions that the tiny millia (keratin filled bump) that I have on the side of my nose can be remove with electrolisis for £45. Has anyone tried this before? is it very painful?

I have had milia removed in a salon before, but they didn't use electrolisis. They just lanced them (I think that's the right term!). It wasn't at all painful.

Thanks LoopyLucyLoo. She definitely mentioned electrolysis, but I was in a rush by then, so I didn't stop to ask for more information. I'll have to check next time.

Yep, had a few removed with electrolisis last year. Very, very quick and not painful. One came back and they did it again for free. V happy with the results and don't think I paid that much.

oh, this sound promising. Thanks jenny60. I might be back to the saloon before I thought!
