Mission Impossible: cotton bra, NOT underwired, and crucially NO seem across the breast

That is your mission, should you chose to accept it, S+B gurus Grin.

I used to live in Triumph Tessa which has sadly been discontinued. And my size (36 D = 80 D) does not seem to crop up on ebay.

So, is there something comparable around? Cotton, supportive without underwire and no stupid seam running right across the breast??

I have just discovered M&S's T-shirt bras which are superlatively comfortable, available in wired and non-wired, and have no seams at all.

Unfortunately they are not cotton but is that a deal-breaker?

tethers, I coudn't get your links to work (just went to BHS homepage) but found their cotton non-underwired ones which are exactly the kind of thing I am looking for, so thanks. They only seem to come in strange sizes now though, but I will keep an eye on them.

yellowraincoat, thanks for the link but sadly I am to old fat sensible for that top

theyoungvisitor, I've looked at those. They are ok, but, but... they are just not like my previous ones . I suppose the cotton content is the most negotiable of my demands.

You have to try Anita rosa faia comes with or without wire. The most comfy bra in the world. Fact.
I get mine from figleaves.com. They are worth the price tag. Hunt for money off at figleaves, plentiful apparently.

MayDay, thank you, I've just looked at those. I like the Twin Range, but £45 Shock!
But then again, if I end up wearing them for years, it might just be worth it

Just a bit of feedback and thanks to thethers: got a couple of the BHS bras and will be back to get more Grin - so thanks for that tip.
They had them instore although all sold out on their website.
They meet all my criteria.
They are cheap.
They are v comfy.

Bravissimo can wait until I've lost another stone or two.

I have been looking for something similar, plain,comfy, non wired for lounging in post evening shower. M&S had nothing in DD really that wasn't divorce material. Assistant showed me post surgery of BF bras! Not exactly what I was after. Will now look in Debenhams, thanks.

Didn't mean either of those types were divorce material. Their other selection were, bad sentence construction. Sorry.

Thanks for further thoughts, ladies.

Debenham's bra is not cotton - see, told you my criteria are insane tricky.
And I am fed up to the back teeth with BFing bras, so no, not those, ta Grin.

I am v v happy with my new cheapo BHS bras - I measured a 36 E at M+S, but found a 38 D fit better with the BHS ones.
