Tillymint, the slips are faulty and too small for the actual size of the dress. It's not you. its Gok.

BecauseImWorthIt · 08/10/2011 16:38

I went and had another look today when I was doing my shopping, just in case my initial impressions were overly negative. But no. It's shite.

fishandlilacs · 08/10/2011 16:38

what size does the range go up to-I haven't had a chance to see it in the flesh yet but i want the wrap dress for post pregnancy and possibly the boyfriend shirt for now.

pointydog · 08/10/2011 16:40

If Gok's had a hand in it, it'll be cheap and tarty stuff.

Phwoar, show your rack, girlfriend

I think the cheongsam dress was ok, I saw someone trying it on yesterday and it really seemed to pull in and control, plus the zip at the back made it look a bit like the Victoria Beckham range ( good or bad ?) but wasn't sure what I would use it for, too tight for work and not really funky enough for goingout in the evening. All sold out today when I went back.

Fish I think it goes up to size 18 or 20 I think, but to be honest you could get nicer clothes for your money

keepingupwiththejoneses · 08/10/2011 17:57

The range goes up to a 22. Not that pleased with the silp in the cheongsam dres is not as good as the one in the wrap dress. I acually like the collection, just wish I could get hold of a black wrap dress.

teahouse · 08/10/2011 21:00

I tried on the 2 tight dresses - the zip is really hard to reach so you need to have either really long arms or be very flexible.
The lining had come out of one dress so I wans't impressed with the quality either. Plus the one with the slash neck seemed a really poor fit around the arms.
All such a shame as I love the idea of a dress with all that support; my tummy needs it (although I doubt the huge bar of Galazy I'm eating will help much ;o)

VivaLeBeaver · 08/10/2011 21:46

You'd be better off getting one of the £12 tummy control vests from marks and Spencer and then buying a trendier, nicer dress.

TigerseyeMum · 08/10/2011 22:45

The range seems a bit dated- I was wearing a red and black cheongsang dress a few years ago, and have a million wrap dresses already (though I admit the red one is tempting...)

Might pop in tomorrow and have a browse.
