No idea what she's doing, sorry Grin but she does know her stuff.

Cybbo · 26/11/2011 11:29

So do we! Have you seen how much nodders and me yak about make up??

its the Emporer's New line blurrer as far as I'm concerned

motherinferior · 26/11/2011 11:40

I'm sure you do all I'm saying is that when a very experienced beauty journalist whose full-time job is to know about every damn product on the market says 'wow!' it's it's interesting. It was quite funny to watch. She got us all trying it.

Cybbo · 26/11/2011 11:41

I'm amazed that anyone can get a good result, but good luck to them if they can. Perhaps its very skin type specific

noddyholder · 26/11/2011 13:29

I have tried everything and it is the worst ever!

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 26/11/2011 13:40

Motherinferior please ask her how she applies it because when I've used it, it's been shit!

Over make up it smears the foundation, under make up it is sticky so makes foundation really hard to apply and it ends up looking caked onConfused

Any tips for using it would be good, I have 3 tubes!!

Cybbo · 26/11/2011 13:41

sell them on ebay? To some other unsuspecting prat?

SeeLyon · 26/11/2011 14:32

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 26/11/2011 14:33

It is probably the worst beauty product I have ever bought - I am fuming that I can't find the receipt to go and demand my money back in Boots. It made me look like my face was crusty. Would have been better off putting £20 straight in the bin.

areyoutheregoditsmemargaret · 11/01/2012 11:49

Oh no, my mum gave me some for Christmas! Shall I try to swap it in Boots without a receipt? Mystery of the excited beauty editor vs totally universal thumbs down from everyone else ... please tell us more MI

monkeysmama · 11/01/2012 15:03

Areyoutheregod your name has cheered up my afternoon Grin.

Emo76 · 11/01/2012 16:33

the Garnier alternative one blemish balm or something is great -like a really good tinted moisturiser

alemci · 11/01/2012 16:46

is this the one you could get a free sample of to try.

areyoutheregoditsmemargaret · 11/01/2012 16:53

glad to hear it monkeysmama [smile}. I am a serial name changer but maybe I'll stick with this a while longer. Still not sure to do with my unopened nanoblur box though Confused

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 11/01/2012 17:52

Take it back, areyouthere it is utter rubbish! Supposed to go on over make up only it doesn't.....under make up it's sticky and horrid.

Take it back and if you still want to try it, pm me, I will send you a tube. I've been trying to give the stuff away for months and no- one wants itConfused

cyb · 11/01/2012 17:53

RUBBISH absolute RUBBISh I'm so cross I wasted £20 of my money on this shit

cyb · 11/01/2012 17:54

DO NOT BOTHER

Under make up its crapola

By itself it feels like egg white smeared o'er your face

i dont like being taken for a Muggins

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 11/01/2012 18:06

LOL....me too cyb

Still I can't give the bloody stuff awayGrin

Honestly, if any sucker one wants to try it, pm me, I just want rid of the stuff and can't bring myself to chuck it.

At the risk of repeating myself, I bought it 3 for 2 and have 2 unopened tubes I'm desperate to offload without the added guilt of adding to landfill.

cyb · 11/01/2012 20:07

I dont think you or I have done a very good PR job on it

areyoutheregoditsmemargaret · 17/01/2012 12:49

Update

So, doyouthinktheysaurus was true to her word and very kindly sent me a tube.

I hate to say it, ladies, but on me it's ... not too bad

No miracles, but I have ver greasy skin and it does mattify my face. Less shiny means my crags and hollows are blurred out a little bit

Not amazing, but not awful - am going to give it another week or two before any firm verdict. Thanks again, doyouthink - finally having oil-well skin seems to have served me well.
