Watching at the mo and keep thinking OMG- red skirt with black tights and animal print shoes. Trashy or trashy?

Seriously- does he really have a clue?

I haven't seen it in yesrs but he's not still doing the wide belt thing?! Geez. What has always puzzled me is the title - he shoves everyone into shapwear, sending a not very subtle hint that their body isn't great, then pushes them to strip off! I just don't get that logic. Plus, i personally think outfits are only stylish if they're appropriate to the situation, so my dsis for example is very polished and glam, but when i see her tottering aroynd the park in sky scraper heels, looking really uncomfortable, i think she looks daft rather than stylish - transport her to a chic restaurant in same outfit, and she becomes totally stylish - iyswim? Thats another problem i have with gok, he just wheels out the same type of outfit no matter what the victims life style is. 7 inch heels when you have young kids and already said you rarely go out, whats the fecking point?

Once I saw him at Heathrow and I waved because I thought I "knew" him and he waved back in a friendly way so I like him.
Also - I am wearing a yellow cardigan today!

Yeah, I agree with you op. I HATE the things he gets the poor women to wear. Usually awfull shiny fabrics, they look cheapo and crap, and I wouldn't be seen dead in loads of his 'looks'.

Last night one poor woman had exactly the same Hmm look on her face, that I would have had when he showed her what he wanted her to wear.
They look like they re in fancy dress half the time. Yes - that woman looked exactly like Mini Mouse.

He used to spend 300 quid per outfit, then two hundred. Now £100?? Erm, even I am not convinced by that... but I still love him Whatta twerp Hmm :o

Loathe him and his patronising and humiliating of women under guise of empowering them. And his horrible tacky choice of outfits. Yuk !!

madammecholet · 28/09/2011 21:38

the poor women in the Kimono monstrosity looked appauled by her outfit. She looked terrible.

and don't even start me on the Minnie fecking Mouse outfit!

partyhats · 28/09/2011 22:02

Ooooh I am glad I am not alone in thinking he is a mysogynist, talentless idiot. God knows how he has ended up with his own tv show. The oufits are always cheap and tacky and he just can't resist putting those circa 2006 wide belts on everything. Its all so emperors new clothes watching those poor women looking at each other after their 'makeovers'.
