What do you buy from Uniqlo and why?

Never shopped from here but always see it recommended/mentioned on here. Quite fancy some cardi's and the skinny cord trousers..

Jeans - they fit my figure and are usually cheap.

Rest is hit and miss but do have quite a lot of stuff so more hit

I LOVE their dresses in summer but I was in the other day and it was a bit dullsville. Have bought some nice cardi's there in the past, belts, jersey bits. Leggings......sweatshirty things

I have not ordered this winter yet but got lots of heat tech tops and tights last year. They Were very useful staples but seem to be dearer this winter. I am very short so cannot comment on the fitted clothes.

2 pairs of jeans-one more skinny than the other_ I buy in store and they shorten them for £2.50.

T shirts- cost around £6- really plain but fine for knocking around in.

Heat tec vests- brill.

Pretty much everything, top, jacket, cardigan wise, jeans and trousers don't fit me properly for some reason. It is my first port of call shop for pretty much anything else though, fave clothes shop. Great range of hoodies last year in lovely bright colours in the mens section, bought in extra small, they fit perfectly. I just like how un-busy most of the clothes are. Say you think to yourself, I really need a plain grey cardi/nice white shirt with 3/4 length sleeves/green cashmere jumper/long length tunic to go with those trousers. Go to uniqlo and there it will be iyswim.

Yes my h H gets all his gear there. They had some obscure Blue Note Jazz tee shirt which made his day a while back

Oh and there is much more stock in the shops than you are able to order on-line too. Luckily I live right near one so am in there at least once a week.

Me too cyb purple, red and yellow. Hoping for more this year, but no colours unfortunately, just grey, green and black. Still worth getting but the colours were lovely last year.

I am size 18 and I ordered loads of bits for autumn/winter. Not one thing fitted. I think their sizes are pretty poor.

I find their sizing quite generous tbh.

Recently bought a short wool coat

fab for knitwear, lovely lightweight merino jumpers and cardies in good colours... buy a few of these every autumn. menswear v good for ds1 (14) too. really rate it.

Heattech and jeans, mainly. Sometimes cotton jersey basics. I quite like some of the knitwear.

I have found the sizing irratic- often having to buy tiny sizes for jeans/ trousers and more as expected in tops/ coats etc. I prefer to visit a store and use the online ordering to get what I already know fits for instance if the colour was out of stock in store or on special offer.

Knitwear, both me and DH. Once I find the right size I'll buy in three different colours or whatever their offer is - they usually have a 2 for £20 or 3 for £25 or something like that.

DH gets a lot of his clothes there too - particularly coloured socks, casual jackets, jeans and heattech shirts. He's also got a winter woollen pea coat from four years ago that's still going strong.

Before I was pg I cycled 30 miles a day all last winter and wore just a heattech long-sleeved polo under a hi-vis gilet and heattech leggings - much better than proper "cycling" clothing and about a tenth of the price. MIL has all heattech clothes for running as well.

Agree that sizing can be all over the place though.
