link to facebook picture
i have lost a lot of weight since having my latest dt's and am a size 12, bf so ample bosom! I wear 34' trousers etc. And have shapely legs, but toned (what im saying is they arent skinny legs but not hefty either)
Im trying to have a wardrobe overhaul and really like this outfit, although i would choose a different top as not keen on slogans.
Can i wear shorts do you think? Ignore the word 'cutesy' in the picture, it makes me sick in my mouth, which is i suppose why i am asking!!

Hi, off course you can get away with it, you go girl and wear it with pride, it's a lovely outfit.

poorbuthappy · 26/09/2011 16:55

Looks good to me! I am always very Envy of toned shapely legs.

Byeckerslike · 26/09/2011 18:17

I would say no. I think it would make you look like a little girl. Try something more grown up maybe?

whojimmyflip · 26/09/2011 18:52

Apart from slogan which you've said you'll avoid there is nothing little girly about it. Id suggest wearing it with a looser top (knitted or cotton knitted) - there are loads of these in the shops Go for it!

Karbea · 26/09/2011 18:54

I don't think it's really right for a 30year old, looks like something a teenager would wear, sorry.

Dolallytats · 26/09/2011 18:57

Go for it, wish I was slinky enough to wear the same kind of thing. Unfortunately I just tried on last years winter coat to see if it will last this year & I looked like a peapod with all the lumps and bumps going on!!!

electra · 26/09/2011 19:34

30 is not old!

sue52 · 26/09/2011 20:03

Course you can wear this at 30. You've got a few years to go before you need worry about too old.

TheGrassIsJewelled · 26/09/2011 20:03

Oooh, I like it (and I'm 33).

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins · 26/09/2011 20:56

I am 36, if my legs could cope I would wear shorts with tights, love the look. Just avoid that jumper, too cutesy!

StroppyDad · 27/09/2011 09:50

Wasn't this discussed (shorts & tights) recently? Ah, yes www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/a1304888-Shorts-with-tights

I'd say go for it, but lose the slogan on the jumper.

Byeckerslike · 27/09/2011 14:59

Thanks all, stroppydad, thanks for that link.
I have ordered the shorts, tights, shoes and a different top, might all go back but i can but try!
