I'm another DrH user with rosacea, and I'd suggest trying Bare Minerals. You can get a free sample from the counter at Debenhams. It's so pure, I've been able to sleep in it (no choice - I couldn't afford DrH for a while and can't use any other cleansers)!!

I need an eye cream from DrH as I'm getting fine lines. What do I need to get?

RattusRattus · 28/09/2011 09:35

Do you do a fake tan?

Walnut8 · 29/09/2011 14:53

I have DrH skincare and makeup products available in my local "health food" store. They are very expensive, however I am a complete makeup and skincare junkie and will spend the money if I get the results (as will most women, I wish the scientists etc would cotton onto this instead of consistently producing such over-marketed crap). What will suit my pale, (and yellow-toned!!) sensitive, acne-prone, rosacea-prone skin (answer this question and you may just answer every other question on here! ha!)???

I am (I think) peri-menopausal. I have, luckily, always had very good skin but now it is dry, then greasy, then dry etc. I do have wrinkles but that is to be expected but I just don't know how to treat my skin at the moment. Is there anything you would recommend?

suburbophobe · 29/09/2011 20:19

I have lichen planus, a type of eczema. What can you recommend? I've tried everything from Chinese herbs to homeopathy. I've always refused to take Cortisone.

what is the difference, in terms of their purpose and effect, between the glass ampoules of Rhythmic Night Conditioner for sensitive skin and the spray bottle Intensive Treatment No.3? i have used both in the past (the spray both morning and night, the ampoules just at night as directed) and both have worked instantly (well, within 24 hours) to reduce hormonal and seasonal outbreaks of itchiness, dry patches, red patches etc and both on separate occasions have restored balance totally to my skin over the following 28 days. Is the difference in these two products just one's preference for application method?

Using Dr H products exactly as I've been instructed to do so (! right down to the muslin cloth compress rung out with lavender oil in the basin of warm water) has given me clear, glowing, fabulous skin for the first time since I was 12. (I am now 44.) i cannot tell you what it has done for my self-esteem and my confidence levels, these days I can enjoy wearing make up too as previously I wondered if make up would contribute to all the zits, bumpiness and flaky patches that plagued me, hence I avoided it. So, thank you.

TigerseyeMum · 02/10/2011 21:52

I am another late-30s one here, with both oily and dehydrated, sensitive yet spotty skin. I tend to get hormonal spots along the jawline but also around the hairline and sometimes across my cheeks. I get flaky dry patches at times.

If I use products for oily skin the flakiness gets worse. If I use products for dry skin, the oiliness and blemishes get worse. If I use products for 'normal' skin they don't fix either of the problems.

Any suggestions?
