Christening is next month.
I need to look good!
I would like a dress please!
I would also like to wear nude heels I think.

I am 5 foot 5 and have similar hair to Alex Jones
34 DD norks and hourglass figure with a bit of a bloaty tummy. Control pants will fix that.

I am most likely an autumn.
I like navy, teal, raspberry.
I also like patterns.
I have about £50 for a frock.

On a budget ladies!

'ello prolific I'm rubbish with suggestions but wanted to bump this for you :)

prolificwillybreeder · 22/09/2011 19:46

Thanks Pinot! How are you?
Evening bump.
Come on ladies, you are always so good at this for other people!
I need a frock please.
Am -29- mid twenties and my legs look ok to be out on show.

This is probably useless as it is way over budget but I saw this in the shop the other day and thought it looked lovely.

here

tethersend · 22/09/2011 22:08

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 08:11

I think if I go up to £100 would that help ladies?

tethersend · 23/09/2011 11:44

I HATE that dress, sorry. It's too shapeless.

What size are you?

How about:

this?

this?

this?

this?

Pinot · 23/09/2011 11:58

Ooh that Megan dress (first link in tethers 11:44 post) is great as the swishy fabric would disguise the tummy. Lovely colour too. Nude heels.

The verity dress (3rd link) is gorgeous too. Very classy.

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 11:59

You know I did have a thought it maybe shapeless.

I quite like the first one. Tbh red scares me!

I'm a ten, hourglass with DD norks.

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:01

The third is lovely I agree Pinot just the colour sadly would drain me :(
Oh dress shopping is so hard!
I either feel like I'm going to a school prom or I have borrowed my mother's dress.
Sob!

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:03

The tummy is less of a problem since having this horrid coldy/sicky virus. It appears I have lost weight!

OP posts:
prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:04

I could totally tell dp that the first £88 dress was ever so cheap ;)

Pinot · 23/09/2011 12:04

I think you should embrace red - it's such an empowering colour. And as a size 10 you'll knock it out of the park!

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:04

Wink even!

tethersend · 23/09/2011 12:06

Tesco have a very similar style one

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:06

I just wish I could but I'll just look uncomfortable and I'll stand out Sad so annoying. If it wasn't for my boys christening I probably would.

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:09

Tethersend- you little star! I am most definitely checking that baby out!
I'm kind of pale olive. That ok do you think?

OP posts:
Pinot · 23/09/2011 12:12

Oh that tesco one is great!

tethersend · 23/09/2011 12:12

Would look lovely.

Tesco have some fab dresses at the mo

MrsMilton · 23/09/2011 12:16

That Phase Eight Megan dress is gorgeous. I've tried it on and it's really flattering, especially over a less than perfect tummy. My only worry was that it was a bit scratchy. Lovely colour though.

prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:25

do we like this? I now want a lot of Tesco dresses!

OP posts:
prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:27

Oh it won't work!

OP posts:
prolificwillybreeder · 23/09/2011 12:27

I'm not sure now I look at again anyhow!
