how many pairs of boots do you own?

I've just got a new black pair from Clarks, knee high and medium heel, to replace my similar ones from 6 years ago... I also have some brown ones from last year, a pair of sheepskin ones and two pairs of oldish shorter ones. The problem is I can't bring myself to throw any away...

Oh yeah, and a pair of navy Hunters.

3 prs black knee length (1 flat patent, 1 sensible heel, 1 silly stiletto)
2 prs black ankle length
1 prs pointy silver ankle length, both with heels
1 prs walking boots (need replacing as are 15 years old and falling to bits)

Thread has reminded me that I could do with a pair of flat casual boots for winter and perhaps some MBT boots if I can get them for a reasonable price (ha ha).

1 x riding boot, flat, brown (Pied a terre)
1 x riding boot, black (Pied a terre)
1 x stack heel high boot, brown (Pied a terre again)

Loads of Uggs ranging from 1-5 years old, but I rarely wear them any more

That's a lot of boots. But some are a few years old. None this year. Yet...!

I know boots are supposed to be stored properly in boot racks. In practice mine are all cramped together in a plastic box, or at the bottom of the wardrobe... not very good.

Not as many as I| would wish.

Hurray, most of you have more than me so I can show this to DP and say 'see, I NEED more'

I have 3 pairs of ankle boots in different styles but one of those need to be chucked.

I also have a smart pair of knee boots that I wore after I was pregnant but over time I have lost all that weight and got my old twiggy legs back and now said boots look like wellies and can not be worn.

I am saving my ££ for a lovely pair of DUO boots that should actually fit :o
