I like the style of the second one (lace up ones) more, but will they be too narrow at the top to tuck in jeans? and the fir lining look a bit silly with jeans tucked in?

I wear skinny jeans and top mostly as I still BF during the day so can't wear dresses (argh..massive style change here, as I almost lived in dresses before BF).

which boots would be better for skinny jeans?

I think something longer would be better. You can buy military style ones in the 2nd link in cheaper places.

I do have longer knee length boots, but want some ankle high ones.

I think the price is OK for the lace up ones, especially with a 20% off. I want some that are real leather and a sturdy sole.

If you definately want ankle boots then the military ones.
