Buying trousers that are comfortable

Hi

Just wondered if i was the only one with this problem. I am about a size 10 but am long waisted and find trousers and jeans a nightmare as they are uncomfortable as they crotch is too high up so I want to pull it down.

Most trousers are like this. I used to buy Principles but now it is owned by Debenhams the trousers are not the same cut. The only ones that seem to fit are designed for older women and they are very expensive. If anyone has the same problem and has found some success with some makes I would be so grateful.

My black work trousers are looking shabby.

me too- i think I have a large "rise" which is not as bad as it sounds!

I have found that some Boden and White Stuff trousers are okay- recently bought WS trousers for £55-cotton with stretch.

I did manage to buy some at Debenhams/Wallis concession with 20% off. Bought 2 pairs of skinny cords so i suppose it is a case of trying things on. Still a huge problem as more often than not they are uncomfortable.
