Over 50's fashion

Promised i'd post this for dm after a massive whinge about nowhere for her to buy clothes.

She likes East and Maine and actually thats pretty much it. I have suggested online shopping but wouldn't know where to look for that age group and she is a bit scared of it!

She is a 12-14 and about 5'2"

Can anyone suggest some websites I could show her?

I don't think the over 50s have to go to any particular retailers. Why would they?

Would suggest all the usual places - Boden, Hobbs, L K Bennett, Phase Eight. M and S Autograph perhaps, though not Per Una!!

I've never heard of Maine I'm afraid.

I'm not a fan of East myself but if she likes that, she might like Monsoon?

What age is she? I woudl have thought that East and Maine are for the 60plus

I don't like East at all - a coarser, frumpier version of Monsoon as far as I can see. As one of the older S and B enthusiasts, can't quite see why 'over 60s' should be expected to shop there.

I don't really think these hard and fast age categories apply nowadays when it comes to stylish dressing. The retailers tigerbear and I mentioned appeal to a wide age range and baby boomers, rightly, aren't prepared to accept being pigeon-holed.

Hobbs, jigsaw, Reiss, L K bennett and Karen Millen have some nice stuff at the moment.

dm doesn't like anything high street EXCEPT East. She is 67 and wants nice separates as she works as a tour guide and has to be smart but not too formal. she hates m&s and all the rest on the high street.
