Coloured tights?

Can you be too old for coloured tights? I'm 33 and I love them but don't want to look like I'm trying to be a teenager. Any opinions?

I tried to buy some a couple of months ago and could only find them in M&S and Asda, so I think you're fine, lol

I'm 32 if it makes any difference

Nice ones in New Look last week. I love them.

I wonder whether something like an aubergine would be easier to start with before leaping in with mustard?

I think thick coloured ribbed ones are better than colourful opaques, and good with short shifts and loafers.

Thank you, I have recently seperated from my husband and am re-inventing my wardrobe to cheer me up but have realised that I have over time lost a bit of confidence in my judgement, but am slowly getting it back!

Anything he didn't like on you - buy it! Smile

A lady in my office, who is well over 40, always wears "cheerful" tights and boots when it's miserable outside - she looks great.

I agree, start with the slightly more restrained shades!

I did actually buy a top that I'd seen on the internet that he had hated when I showed it to him. I love it and have had loads of compliments on it!

I love them and second that coloured tights and short shifts look. Go for the darker shades the aubergines and dark teal rather than mustard. But always team with very plain clothes so you don't look like this-

No you're not too old! I love tights and have a huge collection of different colours and patterns.
