any reasonable budget, as in £1 would be nice but not too many multiples of £100 unless is amazing dress can wear thousands of times

I really really don't know my size because places vary so much, and my old clothes don't fit but new versions in same sort of size (8-10) are sometimes big, sometimes ok, sometimes snug.

am a dreadful shape though, and nearly 41 so possibly something more seemly than this very short dress am wearing now

I like that (you are good at this!) except would be dodgy mid calf length on me as am a freak have short legs, long body and am not excessively tall (1.6m ish)

I love love the first Max Mara, quite like the mikhail whatsit one and also that Asos - wish the first dress was not grey though, it would too accurately reflect my drab self I think. So I might get it but poss not for meet up, should I narrow things and express a preference for red? Having taken stock and realised 90% of wardrobe is blue or purple.

Of the others the lace one makes me shudder the most. (Do you charge for this service?)

(I like the green Mikael Aghal, not the yellow one which made me feel slightly queasy)
