How do non-Londoners keep with fashion trends? I used to buy two key pieces each season. Now I live in torn cords and fleeces. Haven't a CLUE how to keep up. No one notices in the countree if you live in the same outfit. Where to START?

Baby is colicky so evenings are out - we do it in 20 minute shifts to avoid killing her

Saturdays possible but she feeds all over the place and really need to persuade him for 2 hours so I can get a haircut, VERY desperate on that front

Ok take the baby (go when she will sleep) but not both. Or get him to come with you and take them both to cafe/ museum etc while you shop - you can pop in for a feed as needed.

Well you will be impressed

Today I have packed away my maternity clothes (instead of wearing them - baby is 2 months old now) and got out all the pre-baby clothes and hung up the ones that I can shoehorn myself into.

Wore a SHIRT and tasteful jeans today AND wore out stylish long winter coat that I was not wearing because I had fallen into my Ugly Fleece habit.

Have taken out "best" pants from storage - why do I need to put away BEST pants FFS? What's WRONG with me? No wonder I'm not getting laid.

So much progress as you can see. New Year's Resolution is definitely not to look like ugly moose every day.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'LOOK 56'?

santabops · 13/12/2005 19:44

re Du o Boots.

Like the Ravenna but on consulting with a colleague who is 25 she thought the Sierra boot 'younger' looking
so that is the one I am going to get next, currently have jeraz and they are soooo comfy. (now that sounds like an old lady)
