well i don't wear make up everyday, in fact not on most days, even when i do i tend to wear a bit of eye liner mascara and nude lipgloss, and maybe a tad of bronzer.
should make the effort to do that a bit more as it only takes me about 1 min.

so today ive not been wearing makeup and my skin feels a bit greasy, although i don't know if i get hair condition on my face when washing my face

ive never smoked, and my skin is in good condition.
not wrinkled yet, but perhaps bea good idea to try a preventative
well its going to age what ever i do i know that, but just a little something to keep it nice

Yes - well you shouldn't have wrinkles at 34 and indeed, it is all about prevention

anything with an SPF factor - higher the better. I wish I'd started doing that much earlier - my 83 year old mum has always avoided the sun and has fab skin.

carriedababi · 05/09/2011 20:55

i guess the fact my skins on the greasy side, that probably helps reduce wrinkles?

I use the nivea lightly tinted moisturizer during the day, I don't wear anything at night though.

Do most people swap to a heavier moisturiser for the winter?

carriedababi · 05/09/2011 21:12

hmm yes tinted moisturer might be good for me.

look a bit more brighter and fresher

Estee Lauder Daywear or Clinique Superdefense both come in varieties for different skin types - including one for combination/oily skin which might suit you carrie - and have SPF25. I've used and like both - I've got fair, sensitive skin so need a good SPF, but it can be oily too so need an oil-free formula, which I've not found in the cheaper ranges.

And as an older friend said to me once with good reason it turned out - moisturise your neck too! That will be where the ageing shows up if you forget to do it...
I always slap loads of moisturiser on at night if DP isn't staying over. It's nice to wake up feeling dewy! (Who's Dewy? aaargh)

You may end up with botox injections or a face lift or 2, and ultimately your kids would have a fright as you may no longer look "Human"
