For the love of god can someone help me find a maxi dress nice enough for my sisters wedding?

I have a teeny baby and am 2 sizes bigger than normal . I have tried on dresses which look fab but I need to wear heels which is impractical with a small baby. Maxi dresses do suit me as I have a small bit under my bust and small waist. Hourglass basically. All the dresses I look at are polyester or £500 . I obviously don't want to spend that as I will be a size 10 again. All the shops are full of crap , can anyone help?

I bought one off Ebay recently. Have you tried there?

Mine was long and blue/flowery. Really lovely. They do tend to hang out form the waist though so I wore mine with a belt last time as otherwise I look like a blob.

I know it sounds bizarre, and I'm always banging on about Sainsburys, but they've got a nice red maxi dress in there, quite fitted under the 'bust', and a kind of embroidered/cut-out bit round the neck. Could be dressed up for a wedding, and only costs £20. Result!

I think the fabric is all with a mxi. For a wedding it needs to be heavier fabric, not a floaty cottony one

I don't agree with that cyb, if it's a summer wedding then light and floaty is very appropriate.

This one looks bogging on the model but I reckon it should be given the benefit of the doubt, especially if you have a bit of norkage.

That's nice margarita and agree they couldn't have found a worse model for that dress- needs curves. But what about a bra?

Cotton is ok but can look a little casual , I was trying to avoid the polyester . I have long ish curly blonde hair so I always look kind if casual anyway if that's makes sense .

For a blonde this one is lovely. Polyester mind and you'd have to be happy carrying off a bit colour . When is the wedding?
