One I don't want to go to, One I do.

The frst is a country club posh do, the second is a piss-up in a pub.

I am quite fat and poor.

Ideas on the back of a postage stamp if you please oh wise and stylish ones.

Not offence intended, but dont we all feel fat or poor some of the time. Try the charity shops you will find affordable stuff in your size you just have to be adventerous. The standard and quality of clothing for sale in Oxfam is exceptional. You should get a full outfit possibly with accessories for about £15.00. Obviously demographics plays a key part here.

tethersend · 02/09/2011 09:09

Glad you got the Asos one- was my favourite Smile

Seepage · 02/09/2011 09:23

now.....accessories. (our oxfam only sells books) and shoes? not mad keen on those boot things the model is wearing.

tethersend · 02/09/2011 09:29

Oh, hang on- which asos one did you get?

tethersend · 02/09/2011 09:29

And what's your budget for accessories?

MelinaM · 02/09/2011 09:36

Have you thought of ebay? There are some excellent items that are new with tags/unworn that can be had at quite a snipSmile

Seepage · 02/09/2011 11:54

this one

something sparkly in the hair? black shoes? heels?

OP posts:
tethersend · 02/09/2011 15:59

Black would work well. I would go for something like this hat with heels and possibly gloves.

Other colours which would go: Oranges, yellows, purples, creams, reds.

I would avoid sparkly and go for a 1940s/50s look.
