Which boots are we wearing this winter?

I need some new brown or tan boots this winter.

I love Fly London mols but already have a black pair. I think I'm too old to be rocking the work boot look, so, what should I be buying?

Can't find a pic but have bought Russell & Bromley tan boots with small heel, £195, mid-calf length so no problems with squeezing in.

I got these yesterday fly mes warm I love them!

ducky they are lovely, but I always struggle to know what sort of trousers to wear with boots that are mid calf, bearing in mind my legs and skinny jeans are not a good look. What do others wear them with?

I tried on a pair in TKmaxx this morning, Geox knee high tan 50 quid, which I thought was good. Bit unsure of the foot shape though and they were very big in the calf (i haven't got particularly skinny legs)

I thought heeled boots with skinnies was a big S&B no no?
