Elemental · 30/08/2011 12:09

kittyispretty · 30/08/2011 12:40

Hated the dress but fab show!

tethersend · 30/08/2011 13:33

Are you sure it was 'beau' and not 'bow'?

tethersend · 30/08/2011 13:35

Is it this one?

tethersend · 30/08/2011 13:36

If so, I'm with noddy Grin

LucyWorsley · 30/08/2011 13:44

tethersend: Yep, you've got it. Beau from Hobbes, in cranberry.

tethersend · 30/08/2011 13:52

Oh, this is awkward.

LucyWorsley · 30/08/2011 13:54

Whoops, confusing my seventeenth-century philosophers and my chain stores. Meant Hobbs.

tethersend · 30/08/2011 13:58

Is that the real Lucy?

'Real' inasmuch as we could all be hairy handed truckers called Dave, I mean Wink

worldgonecrazy · 30/08/2011 14:04

I disagree with tethersend even though she's normally a style goddess. I think it would be quite flattering for someone who is a particular shape, especially around the thighs, as it gives the illusion of an hourglass figure. I like the dress.

meltedchocolate · 30/08/2011 14:21

but for anyone who is top heavy it would be a disaster!!

Elemental · 30/08/2011 14:33

Ah, that would look dreadful on me, but it really, really suited Lucy. I also love her style - is that really you?

HallnotOates · 30/08/2011 15:29

luce

I loved your book. and the show.
and just carry on.. as you were

kittyispretty · 30/08/2011 15:30

If only it had no wool in it

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 30/08/2011 16:13

A bit off-topic but, is it just me or does Lucy dress a bit old for her age? She's the same age as me but seems to have fully embraced 40-50-year-old dressing ...

or possibly I should stop kidding myself and give up the skinny jeans and Converse

Mumsnut · 30/08/2011 16:38

You should ask her, Lady C. She's about 7 posts above you.

tethersend · 30/08/2011 16:50

Cheers for taking the heat off me though, LadyC Grin

higgle · 30/08/2011 16:51

Yes, it is the real Lucy - I emailed her publicist and she posted on here with the information - and emailed me back to confirm - how lovely.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 30/08/2011 16:53

Yes, tethers, you owe me a pint I think. Grin

tethersend · 30/08/2011 17:10

Actually, I think we should probably both buy Lucy one Wink

Emo76 · 30/08/2011 20:53

I like that dress but not sure why Hobbs have styled it with a belt, doesn't look right with that one to me.
