Magazine freebies - what have been your favourites?

I had those KG flip flops too! There seem to be more freebies lately and they are getting better quality wise imo. I remember when you'd always get a diary at Christmas time-miss those! Long may the freebies continue! I also got att free min benefit skincare set from Grazia. You had to get the toekn out and take it to att Benefit counter but the minitures are sooo cute and packaged gorgeously! I also got a mini liz earle hot cloth cleanser aand cloth from a token in the Daily Mail!

'Either this or last months Marie Clare was pretty good. A nice nude nail varnish and a miniature dove conditioner. Was extra happy as I'd bought it to read on the train when going away for the weekend and had hardly packed any toiletries.'

The nail varnish exactly matched some shoes I'd bought for a wedding and I was planning to go shopping for nail varnish, I popped into a shop for some bread and my DD pointed out the nail varnish - I spent a fair bit of the wedding going, look, look at my nail varnish, doesn't it match well? it was free you know and so on, rofl

I had a lovely Emma bridgewater diary once, from easy living or eve I think? And there never seems to be one to buy! It was my favourite diary ever.

Ooh, mine are probably bags. The 'Star' one that LadyClarice mentioned, and an 'Elizabeth Hurley Beach' bag that came with Easy Living I suspect. Not for the brands on them, hell no. Am sure that Matt and Liz were not that involved in the design... But because they are just so damn useful; both still being used years later. Ooh, and a roll-up toiletry bag that my mum loved! And another, that she gave to her friend when complimented on 1st. Forget mags, but suspect one was Eve - remember that?

I'm less bothered by the makeup/skincare ones as I am very fussy, very particular and have a ton of stuff through my old job, but did like the L'Occitane hand and foot cremes.

There are def. fewer about this year. Have not had a (free) new bag in ages!

Glamour do have some great freebies, I too got the Clinique and Benefit ones.

I got one of those Cath Kidston bags from Easy Living, mainly because there was a thread on here saying how much they were selling for on ebay but I kept mine in the end.

Every summer I used to buy a magazine that had a free book with it, I saw this summer one magazine was giving away that From Pig to Twig but i'd just got a copy at the time from ebay.

I loved the Clinique miniatures with Glamour too, still using the super balm. However I really dislike all the bags / make up type bags that I have got in the past with magazines, never really find them usable. Same with most of the free books you get, usually chick lit in the girly ridiculous extreme.

Ooh yes, forgot the Pig to Twig book!

I bought the mag specifically for the free copy, and used loads of the recipes and ideas. I'm still low-carbing a year later.

I subscribe to Easy Living and I'm 31 mind you, I subscribe to Bizarre mag too, so I'm obviously a weirdo! I'm cancelling Bizarre soon though and swapping it for Nursing Times so I must be growing up

My fave freebies so far have been the Benefit and Clinique freebies. I've bought a full sized High Beam since, and wear the Clinique lipstick every day.

RED Magazine £25 Hobbs Voucher from last summer, I bought 2 lovely tops.

Ooh ooh I got the Kurt Geiger flip flops too. They are still alive and well and living in Spain.

They are great

I got a nice big pair of Sunglasses from Tatler earlier this year. I didn't have to buy any and I only ever buy cheap ones anyway as I can't be doing with faffing about with sunglasses cases. When they eventually get sat on/kids break them, I never cry because I won't have spent much on them.

Has anyone bought the mag this month with the free knickers by Rigby and Peller? I didn't as I am pretty sure they wouldn't fit my rather generous behind.

Actually I like alot of the EL freebies - the tray and the last Cath Kidston bag were fab too. I subscribe and they still post me them.

And I usually buy mags with free nail varnishes.

But NOT the free knickers or vests as they are usually rubbish quality and designed for sticks

I cant remember what mag it was but I have a lovely Celia Birtwell tray for my dressing table - got all the Cath Kidston bags but I found the only one that lasted more than 5 mins was a wash bag. I also love benetint so handy as my little one for my handbag i got smelt funny on the lip gloss. Oh and love all teh Nails inc freebies!

I had a Billy Bag canvas mesh tote with a sort of spirograph pattern on it - absolutely perfect for carrying things to the library in. It got lost when I moved house :(

I like the Glamour Clinique and Benefit ones from earlier this year. Also the Nails Inc ones that were in Instyle and Elle just had Mavlava polishes that were good.

There is a fab shower gel with this months RED.
Loved the Jemma Kidd liplosses they give away too.
