i'm not sue about the top, i think i would go for something plainer

talkingnonsense · 27/08/2011 18:53

Are you tall? Good if you are tall, and dark haired.

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 18:53

5'7 with dark hair.

the top is a definate no. choose a plaind white top, it will complement all the black

Gillybobs · 27/08/2011 18:56

I'm not mad on the top {its a bit teenage for my taste, sorry) but the rest is lovely. I'd maybe suggest a lace t shirt for under the blazer. loads of nice ones around

MadameCastafiore · 27/08/2011 18:58

I'd pick a bright colour and match shoes to the top.

Maybe a really bright blue. Would look classier than the graffiti top thing.

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 18:58

ok. back to a top hunt! Thanks.

orienteerer · 27/08/2011 18:59

Plain white shirt would be nice.

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 19:00

Shirts are difficult because of Nork size.

I agree with orienteerer, plain white would look good....but then Ilike simple :)

Yama · 27/08/2011 19:03

I like the top. I think it might be flattering. Often these types of tops are nicer on.

I also like the shoes and blazer. So, it's a 'Go for it!' from me.

lostlady · 27/08/2011 19:07

I like it. I think better than plain white: agree that might be nice and stylish if thin, but as similar age/size to you think that the patterned top is better. Enjoy your nights out Grin

talkingnonsense · 27/08/2011 19:08

I think plain White might make you look bigger, unless maybe you add a scarf?

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 19:09

oh please, talking! No more to buy. It has taken all day to find those 3 and even then the shoes were not in a shop!

Am on phone so bit difficult to link but if u go to the autumn thread in s&b they link to a Zara top which looks silky with slight pleats down the middle of the top, think that would look great. Hate the top u gave linked to.

mrsravelstein · 27/08/2011 19:11

all lovely except the top. plain black vest instead?

thenightsky · 27/08/2011 19:13

Love all of it. I'm going out tonight in similar but my jacket is not as lovely as yours Envy

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins · 27/08/2011 19:16

Also white top boring, if this is for evening dos flash a little colour in the black.

TidyDancer · 27/08/2011 19:18

I would go for a plain black top with a big dramatic necklace, I'm thinking something like this Monsoon offering.

The shoes and blazer are lovely though. :)

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 19:18

so sparkly top then?

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 19:20

Can't find the top Queen but will keep looking. Thanks for posting.

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins · 27/08/2011 19:24

Here you go

QueenOfAllBiscuitsandMuffins · 27/08/2011 19:25

Please don't do more black and do your jeans go to the floor with your shoes on?

gregssausageroll · 27/08/2011 19:26

Too high a neck for the boobs Queen but I like the colour.

Need to order the shoes but with my other heels, yes, they are long.
