Are denim skirts a big no now? How about denim skirt and long leggings with brogues???

that is a nice funky denim skirt and not in the least bit frumpy. Go for it. Wear your leggings and if it gets hot, you can rip 'em off.
Please don't wear brogues with it though. Boots, flip flops or ballerinas all fine IMO.

I concur with Cointreau. Not saying you look like a Thai hooker, Cointreau jus that there is a fine line with this look... Opaques and chunky boots for autumn, yes probably - leggings and a stonewashed denim mini skirt NOOoooooo.

I think the brogues would look good just make sure your leggings are long almost touching your shoes :)

The fatface skirt you linked to is similar to mine, kind of vintage denim look and shortish. IMO it would look fine with leggings and brogues especially worn with either a loose sweater or blouse.

I wear my denim mini (just a couple of inches over the knee) with either grey, navy or plum tights and tan knee high boots. Or I wear navy tights and red ballet shoes sometimes with it.

I think denim skirts with black leggings look horrible, sorry.

I hate the leggings and skirt combo and shorts and leggings look, don't really see the point?

I am probably far too old to understand brogues being fashionable, but they sound like blokes shoes

I am wondering about this skirt here with long boots and a jumper in winter- thick tights not leggings though. What do the fashion police wise ladies of s&b say? Am 30 btw. I have other denim skirts but they are all faded vintage type denim and I've gone off them for some reason.
