...trying to find a thread i saw on here before i went on holiday- forgot to bookmark and have spent an hour trying to find.
Ankle boots - it seems it is ok to wear a certain type of ankle book with a skirt - there was even an illustration. Could someone either find thread or please tell a not very sussed person what looks ok.
Am so keen to do this look as my feet and legs just boil in longer boots. Have slim legs and ankles. However my feet are very broad so can't do narrow styles - also not good with much of a heel.

i wear flat ankle boots with dresses or tunics. i've got very short boots and just below mid-calf ones. also just got some chelsea boots but haven't experimented yet. I have very skinny ankles which can make my calves look chunkier than they are so I sometimes use longer socks to cover them.

Thanks, fishie. I am always drawn to flat boots and would certainly consider trying chelsea boots.
However as far as I recall the boots on this mystery thread did have a moderate heel - a chunky one I think.
Still trying to find the thread...
