for my little sister. She's 12 and not particularly girly. I have boys so not 'up' on where to buy gorgeeous girls clothes from.

Any ideas? (Nothing in Boden suitable.)

the white company

RR teen stuff, inc. pyjamas . But if I were 12 it would have to be the cashmere zip-up (if cost were no object).

I remember my sis being very pleased with a loungewear type set a few years ago (when 14ish) - trousers, vest and jersey cardi thing to save wearing ratty old dressing gown.

Try the M&S mix and match range though some are foully pink. Or go for classic tartan.

Chrismurfgirl · 06/12/2005 15:51

Topshop and Miss Selfridge do lovely pjs.

MrsMillsletoe · 06/12/2005 15:58

Binkie , £58 for childrens pj's????

Gorgeous as they were, I couldn't justify that!!

Some lovely things in The White Company but I think she may be a bit old.

I was thinking about M&S, I'll try and pop in soon. Grown up shops never even crossed my mind, what size do they start at? she is really long and thin.

Etam too, possibly... - or even Next?

Chrismurfgirl · 06/12/2005 18:04

Topshop and Miss Selfridge do some size 6 stuff. Their size 8 or small pjs should fit.

binkie · 06/12/2005 20:09

Oh I know MrsM, just thought you might want to see.

We haunt the sales (big markdowns) & even after that they get passed down endless cousins, so we get value in the end!

sammac · 06/12/2005 20:28

I have it on the best of authority from dd (who's 12 in 2 weeks!) that Tammy girl are cool. Used to be in Etam but are now in BHS.

sammac · 06/12/2005 20:29

Also fits size 6/8(spit spit) in other shops. Her favourite jammies tho' are from good old Primark.

MrsMillsletoe · 06/12/2005 20:33

Might give Etam a go as well, don't know any other 12 year old girls, and would hate to be the uncool big sister.

Quite like the M&S seperates.

Cannot remember ever buying size 8 clothes before, I surely couldn't have gone from aged 8-10 years straight to a size 14?

MrsMillsletoe · 06/12/2005 20:43
