As usual, I shall be wearing my amazing flashing Xmas earrings and my polystyrene reindeer horns, with tinsel scarf and singing santa socks

I was going to ask about that singular new boot ...

Only for Christmas dinner, and no palazzo pants

My role is try and remember who got which kid which present. I generally fail abismally but DH would be even worse. Can do this very easily in a sparkly shrug.

can i just add i am VERY excited about xmas, new house, 2 v excited girls and huge party from lunchtime onwards.

as someone who spends 99% of my time in jeans and t shirt, I like to get dressed up on Christmas day - -I think dh appreciates it as well and ds1 always tells me that I look beauiful if I get dressed up
