Liquid eyeliner please - thin brush, longlasting

Have just discovered that my favourite Bourjois Glitterfizz liquid eyeliner is discontinued. What I love about it is the super thin brush and longlastingness, the sparkles are just a bonus, non-essential. Have just been given some John Lewis vouchers so would be grateful for any recommendations

Can't bear to see a neglected, un-flicked eye.

How about Guerlain eyeliner - brush so fine it's barely visible to human eye, all the colours have a touch of glitter. And it lasts about 5 hours. Also Clarine - brush is like a felt tip but goes on finer than you would think.

I use Laura Mercier block eyeliner. You need an eyeliner brush too (but not the £££ LM one necessarily).

I like the bobbie brown gel eyeliner.

I like the benefit liquid eyeliner myself, it stays on all day, doesn't budge and it has a thin brush.

I use MAC - its almost impossible to shift and looks great

I'm going to go against the up-market grain here and recommend Collection 2000 ones- I think they're just fab (and I'm usually a sucker for expensive makeup) Save your vouchers!!

I would second buying a brush - then you can use it with any eyeshadow you have (just add a bit of water). I have a ruby and milly brush that is brilliant.

I used to use the MAC one until I discovered ELF, fraction of the price, lasts as long on the eyes and the bottle lasts twice as long....

MAC Liquidlast eyeliner does not come off, ever! Very fine brush too, I love it.

No 7 doesn't come off- even with remover (not necessarily a good thing!)

The brush is also thin enough for cack-handed me to handle..

Right, i have tried loads of liquid eyeliners, but on the high street I found Rimmel exaggerate eyeliner the best It hasn't got a super super thin brush, but the line comes out thin enough. It has got a felt tip applicator in the cap its very easy to hold and apply. I have tried bobbi brown gel liner as well, but I hate the brush, as the line comes out too thick.

Tried the brushes and just couldn't manage to get a good line. I use the lancome liquid eyeliner pen. It's great, you can do thin or thick lines really easily, lasts for ages and stays on well.

I have tried loads of different ones. But the best I've had is a really cheap one. It's a 'Miss Sporty' liquid liner. It's a snip at approx £2.99 from boots. Really thin brush and it lasts all day.

Essence gel eyeliner and angled brush. The two together will cost about five quid and it's genuinely great. I am a former bobbi brown wearer but can't afford it anymore.

Thanks all. Well, I think it's only sensible to start with the cheapest then! Depending whether I get to Boots or Asda next.
Don't want to get into separate brushes - my dressing table is covered in stuff as it is and I like portable, mess-free make up. I did splash out on a Bobbi Brown eyegel though as recommended by MN but can use my finger for that.

PS I find if the brush is thin enough I can just keep thickening up the lines if I cock it up until the two lines match! Can be fun being Amy-Winehouse-mum in the playground.

i have a felt tip from bourjois which I use to create the bit above my lashes. Then I use a rimmel one to outline that and do the flicks (the bourjois is easy to control but doesn't always give a smooth edge. I bought both the mabelline and clinique gel liners and fine them really hard to apply, even though I've been doing it my usual way for about 20 years!

I've used tons of different liquid eyeliners over the years, I do love the Boots No7 one though, lasts ages and the brush makes it really easy to apply.

Bobbi Brown. But needs a brush (sorry)
